It’s nothing fancy — just good, clean, cozy rooms with all the basics you need after a long day on the road (or at the bar). It’s the kind of place where boots sit by the door, stories are swapped over a cold one, and you wake to the sounds of the bush — simple, warm, and unmistakably outback.
Pub Room
Our pub rooms offer a nod to the old shearers’ quarters — simple, clean, and full of country charm. Each room features a comfy bed, cool air-conditioning, and shared amenities, all linked by a wide verandah that stretches along the front, perfect for relaxing with a cuppa while taking in the garden views.
Donga with Ensuite
Our donga accommodation is the modern take on workers’ quarters — simple, tidy, and just right for the solo traveller. Each room features a comfy single bed, private ensuite, and all the essentials you need after a hard day’s work. Perfect for a bachelor, spinster, or anyone after a fuss-free stay with a touch of outback practicality.
Country Pub Camping
Looking for an easy stopover? Pull up your caravan, camper, motorbike or simply roll out your swag and enjoy a night at the Wellshot Hotel.
Camping is just $10 per person, per night, with power available for an additional $5 per site. We offer clean showers, toilets and laundry facilities, making it the perfect place to freshen up before hitting the road again.
We're a first in, best dressed campground—no bookings are taken—and we have room for around six vans, so arrive early to avoid missing out.
Ideal for short stays, cold drinks, a great meal and a true country pub experience.
